On that note, and with life returning to normal, we’ve recently had the pleasure of taking part in countless successful events, where our caterers have left guests thrilled with an impressive feast. One of these events was an unforgettable celebration that our client, Sue, had put together in honour of her husband’s 70th birthday.
The client had asked Hog Roast Necton to cover the catering of the 30 guests that had been invited to the couple’s home in Lowestoft to celebrate the landmark birthday. Right away, Byron, our catering manager, asked Sue lots of questions about her vision for the event, which helped them to decide on a customised version of our Classic Hog Roast Menu.
This chosen feast offered guests the opportunity to try our signature slow-roasted shredded pork with savoury sage and onion stuffing, crackling and applesauce, which were served up on crunchy gluten-free rolls with new potatoes. Grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers were also available for plant-based guests, followed by a choice of either profiteroles smothered in a rich chocolate sauce or sweet and fruity vacherins of strawberries with passion fruit cream for dessert.
Sue and her husband were both really pleased with the outcome – and so were their guests! Everyone happily bonded over the indulgent food that our Hog Roast Necton catering team presented, which was full of flavour and impossible to resist!
