Let me share my recent experience with The Spitting Pig catering service, where they absolutely nailed catering for vegetarians and accommodating allergies. As a vegetarian myself, I'm often apprehensive about event catering, but they went above and beyond to ensure everyone had delicious options to enjoy. Hi Kate, The food was so tasty, it really did make my night! Planning my 30^th was stressful apart from the food! I’d tasted your food at my friend’s wedding before, so I knew from the start what I wanted! The girls were so lovely through all the booking, and it couldn’t have been any easier, then on the night the guys were great aswell! Looking for something a little different for my birthday this year, I opted for a Hog Roast from Spitting Pig for my party guests. The food was divine, and the service was so friendly. Thank you so much to Spitting Pig - the party was a huge success! My mother in law had no idea on the day and the team that arrived to serve were so accommodating for the surprise party and even set up after she arrived as to not ruin it. She was absolutely thrilled with the food - we all were! Most people even went back for seconds! We can't say thank you enough!

We decided we wanted a hog roast for our evening reception even before we'd picked our daytime meal! We are so glad we did as it was just perfect. We found you through a friend that you had previously catered for and enjoyed it that much we wanted to book you for ourselves! For our wedding we had a meal that neither of us actually enjoyed so for our vow renewal we wanted to make sure we loved it! All the bbq we picked was amazing and the southern slow options drew our eye instantly. The cajun chicken was an absolute 10/10 and then as an extra we wanted to add the profiteroles we had previously had and they stood up to the hype we'd remembered and were amazing again! I can’t praise Spitting Pig enough for their work at my husband's 50^th Birthday. It was a complete surprise for him, and they did not disappoint. All our friends commented on the taste and even my vegetarian guests loved it. We will be booking again very soon.

Dear Britt, Thank you so much for a wonderful feast last Saturday. We had getting on for 100 people at our golden wedding anniversary. Your staff were very professional and friendly. The hog roast was done to perfection, we had many guests who commented on the lovely food. Then suddenly they had gone leaving enough pork and stuffing to last a month and everything spick and span. Hi both, Just wanted to say a massive thank you. The process itself from start to finish was great but a huge shout out to the chap who came on Saturday (and apologies, cannot remember his name exactly, Shivesh? Suresh?). In any case, he was brilliant. Arrived nice and early, was polite and friendly. Everyone thought he was great, he really got into the swing of things and put up with the kids endlessly wanted to come round to see the pig’s head! He also even spent a little bit of time with us in the party once all the food had been done (at our invitation, don’t want you to think he gatecrashed)! He was clean and tidy, you’d not even know he had been there after he left. We have absolutely loads of meat left over, not sure what to do with it all TBH 😊 Anyway, thanks once again. Great service and will have no hesitation in recommending in the future. Thanks

Hi Kate, I have nothing but great things to say, everything went so well and Byron was brilliant. Byron from the start made me feel at total ease, organising a party, big or small can be stressful and I never once felt anxious about the hog roast. Massive thank you to Byron. The food was absolutely amazing and everyone at the party commented on how tasty everything was and that the portion sizes were spot on! Some even took the left overs home. I didn’t get Byron’s colleagues name, so if you can, could you pass on my thanks to him. Both Byron and his colleague are a credit to your company and I would have no hesitation in recommending Spitting Pig to anyone. Thank you all once again for all your help and the delicious food.

Booked Spitting Pig for my daughter’s christening and it went down a treat! The BBQ was a great choice with the weather and was perfect for both the children and the adults attending. I will definitely be keeping this company in mind for the next family party!

Hi there Kate, Thank you for your message regarding the spit roast on Sunday. It was superb and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Byron and his son were very lovely and looked after us as well as cleaned up the place after. The only negative thing I can add (and beyond anyone’s control!) was we wished the weather was better on Sunday, as we would have enjoyed the spit roast more being outdoors chatting with the group. Everyone loved it anyway despite that and the food was amazing. Thank you and we will definitely recommend to use them again! Best regards

My Husband booked for my 50^th birthday as a surprise and I couldn't be any happier! We had the most amazing time and it was super easy for him to book, and it made the party so stress free!

The food was lovely and the hog roast was very tender, it was overall a very pleasant experience dealing with everyone at Spitting Pig. The team was extremely professional and very polite and helpful. I had no problems at all and will definitely be using them again. Thank you for helping make my party such a great success! We would absolutely like to thank Byron and Suresh they made our day perfect!  The food was delicious and plentiful. We had guest going up for seconds and thirds...cannot tell you how many fabulous comments we got about the food. We were delighted with our Hog Roast on Wednesday evening 4th August at the Firs, prepared and served by Byron and Rodney. They did a great job, were polite and attentive, and our hog roast was delicious. It made a super ending to our family holiday, it was great fun and we will certainly do it again. Thank you

HI Byron, Thank you for your kind email, and thank you SO MUCH for Saturday. You were so courteous, flexible, understanding and friendly – makes all the difference and is (almost!) as important as the food – so thank you. Especially grateful that you weren’t put out by us getting our timings wrong. The food itself was outstanding. So many of our guests have commented on the quality and quantity. I have two 20-something nephews wo are notorious in our family for grading the food at family weddings. You got a ‘top food!’ from them! You would probably recognize them as they both came back for 2nds, 3rds… We would very happily recommend you to friends and use you again ourselves. If we did so, I think the one thing we would ask is if there was anyway we could speed up service for you – through I’m guessing this was slowed down by COVID preventing us helping ourselves to sides. Wasn’t a  problem at all, as everyone was enjoying themselves and had had wedding cake and ice cream to keep them going! So again, huge thanks, and we hope to use you again in the future. We were really pleased with the service from Byron & team for our wedding, everybody loved the hog roast and it worked perfectly with the rest of the day. Would highly recommend.

All of the residents at my assisted accommodation community loved the food, Normally, without COVID, we’d’ve had a big gathering for the Queen’s birthday. We decided to get the Hog Roast Necton team over to the premises and made boxed up meals for the residents instead, which me and my staff hand delivered to them. It wasn’t quite the same because of the socialising restrictions, but everyone loved the food and we’re excited to book them again for what will hopefully be a celebration where we can all meet up and enjoy each other’s company in the main social space again! Had an amazing hog roast over the weekend. We booked the Classic menu which was absolutely stunning. Everybody commented on how professional the food was presented. I can whole heartedly recommend this company to any one who may be looking for a hog roast. Absolutely 10 out 10.

These guys did the most amazing hog roast I have ever seen and tasted (I have been to quite a few !!!!!). The event was for my fathers 60th surprise Birthday party. The set up and serving of the hog roast meal was absolutely first class. I had never imagined an hog roast to be served so nice. Thank you so much guys for making the night even more special.
