With business booming again in some sectors, the Hog Roast Bisbrooke team have been hard at work helping our corporate clients in the local area make a great first impression with our fabulous hog roast catering menus for a wide range of corporate functions.
The most corporate catering we had the pleasure of undertaking for was a large company who are in the middle of a big recruitment drive. They decided to put on a recruitment open day at their premises in an effort to attract some fresh new talent and raise awareness of the vacancies that are available without all of the formal trappings of the full application and interview process at this stage.
They required a Hog Roast Bisbrooke corporate catering menu that provided some great freshly made food for the attendees and a professionally presented spread that matched the more informal tone of the event and encouraged people to mingle.
They chose one of our more relaxed corporate hog roast menus featuring one of our classic slow cooked hogs as the star of the show, served in a pulled pork style sandwich and topped with a generous portion of apple sauce and crunchy crackling. This was accompanied by handmade gourmet coleslaw, herb dressed new potatoes, a mixed seasonal green salad and an Italian inspired tomato and mozzarella salad. We were also asked to provide BBQ pulled jackfruit sandwiches as a flavour packed vegan alternative to our signature dish, along with a vegan-friendly version of our gourmet coleslaw.
As always, we made all of the food at the company’s premises and spent several hours preparing every element of the menu to perfection, all ready to be served right on time. We brought along our catering gazebo to prepare and serve the food under as the event was taking place outdoors at the company site, but luckily the weather was on our side and none of our diners had to shelter from the rain!
Everyone who attended the recruitment event really appreciated the food and our more informal buffet-style service encouraged everyone to network whilst they enjoyed their meal. The Hog Roast Bisbrooke team contributed to what was a very successful day with lots of great food to be enjoyed and new career opportunities to be made!
