The Hog Roast Empingham wintertime menu comes complete with a choice of two meaty main options: slow-roasted free-range pig served with crackling and applesauce or traditional turkey with fresh cranberry sauce and savoury sage and onion stuffing. If you’ve got any non-meat-eating guests to appease, don’t worry! We can sort you out with a tasty vegan or vegetarian option too, that goes marvellously with our special winter sides. Think home-cooked creamy cauliflower cheese, glazed seasonal vegetables, roast potatoes, homemade gravy and juicy pigs in blankets for those meat-lovers.
As if that wasn’t tempting enough, we will also treat you to our freshly baked traditional mince pies with warm brandy cream and a glass of homemade mulled wine, which comes with an alcoholic or non-alcoholic option.
