At Hog Roast Stretton we love all types of events, but there is always something extra special about catering for a really fancy, formal and luxurious occasion wherein guests come all dressed for the glitz and glam and expect to be whisked away to an immense dining experience that matches to the prestige of their own dress wear.
Such an occasion came recently when one of our long-time corporate customers looked to celebrate their 10 years of business by hosting a glam ball for all 130 employees plus family member pluses too. Having used Hog Roast Stretton for previous client meetings and even a couple of in-office staff lunch treats our corporate partner was quick to pick up the phone again knowing that the Hog Roast Stretton team could give them what they need for the most glam dining experience of all.
As guests arrived in style we in turn welcomed each in style too with a welcoming glass of fizz and an assortment of delicious gourmet canapés which rotated the room as guests mingled ahead of the main dining event, setting the guests appetites well for the extravagant dinner to come.
What better an extravagance for glam dining than a starter of Roasted Breast Of Gressingham Duck Seasonal Leaves, Orange & Pomegranate Dressing or Heritage Tomato & Beetroot Carpaccio Buffalo Mozzarella, Seasonal Leaves, Cracked Black Pepper, and a Balsamic Reduction. This starter was followed by a few speeches from the company heads thanking all for their service across the ten years in making the business a success, after which the Hog Roast Stretton team was more than ready to move to the long awaited main.
The customer had specially requested the hog roast main so we served that to guest tables along with buttered new potatoes, sage and onion stuffing, golden crackling, apple sauce, a selection of seasonal leaves, heritage tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad, and homemade gourmet coleslaw, before finishing with a dessert of creamy cheesecake. An alternate option of BBQ pulled Jackfruit or spit roasted lamb was also available on request.
An excellent night was had by all and Hog Roast Stretton were delighted to be a part of such a celebration.
