What a crazy first week of December it has been. Do they know it’s Christmas? Well we certainly do now here at Hog Roast Ketton.
We are well into the swing of things now with our festive catering. Staff party after staff party has been fed, turkey after turkey has been roasted, and every portion of pigs in blanket has been hoovered up as though it were that last ever Christmas party. All that is to say, we’re loving the beginning of the festive period. Even if it is an extremely busy time of the year for all of the Hog Roast Ketton staff, it is well worth it when we get to cater for so many wonderful groups. There’s an extra bit of magic and specialness involved when it comes to festive catering. It makes our job just that touch more brighter when we get to share in so much of the festive spirit at this time of year!
Fortunately our Winter Refresher Training starts to pay off right at this time. With the hecticnes s of our schedule, the Hog Roast Ketton team just have to remain focused from event to event and keep the energy up all the way. With our added training just before the festive period, everyone on the team is very well drilled and knows their roles inside and out right away, so there’s not even an opportunity for any kind of misstep in our momentum – we can just roll from event to event like Santa on his sleigh riding from house to house on Christmas eve!
Our menu is more than matching the task, too. Guests seem to be loving our combination of rotisserie turkey and Hog Roast Ketton’s signature hog roast dish. Add in our pigs in blankets – made from the best pork in the business -, our golden roast potatoes, our incredible glazed veg (yes, even the sprouts are popular with Hog Roast Ketton), then you’ve got a festive feast that’s got everyone feeling the Christmas spirit.
That’s one week down, and a little over two more until the big day. That means plenty more Christmas cheer to spread for just a little while longer, right here at Hog Roast Ketton!
