This April, Hog Roast Oakham is catering for a charity auction hosted by a boutique hotel in Rutland. The hotel is hosting the event in its largest function room and plenty of other local businesses have donated prizes for guests to bid on, including spa days, hotel stays, cocktail-making classes, gourmet meals, and lots more. There are prizes to suit each guest, which will guarantee that the event is a success, especially since it is raising money to support a local charity. During the interval, Hog Roast Oakham will be serving a classic hog roast, which is sure to be a great addition to the evening, with more than enough to go around.
On the day of the auction, the Hog Roast Oakham team will get to the venue in the morning and prepare our menu for the 7:00pm serving time. The star of our menu will be our slow-roasted hog, which will be expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Alternatively, the guests can enjoy halloumi and vegetable skewers or marinated chicken kebabs. The mains will be accompanied by homemade chips and a selection of fresh salad options, which will be perfect for creating a filling and balanced evening meal.
